Botox Injections For Wrinkles | How Botox Helps Smooth Face Wrinkles


Using Botox injections for wrinkles is, for many people, one of the most effective solutions in anti aging.

botox injection face In the upper face, the main areas treated for wrinkles are the crow's feet at the sides of the eyes, the "bunny lines" on the side of the nose, to decrease the wide lines across the entire forehead, and the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows).

One of my personal favorites is injections above the eyes to create an eye lift, for those that have hooded eyelids. This, in my opinion, is a great alternative to the surgical procedure blepharoplasty.

Don't Forget About Skincare

While I agree that using Botox injections for wrinkles is highly effective, I want to be clear: it is NOT a replacement for good skin care.

Too often, customers come in willing to inject, but then are using poor quality skincare, and it shows. Botox and other injectable medical cosmetic procedures are excellent additions to a quality skincare routine, but cannot and do not assist in the skin's surface issues, such as uneven tone and texture, which are also major signs of aging (that can be treated with good skincare!).

Additionally, having a good anti aging skincare regimen can assist in prolonging the results of your cosmetic injections.

The crow's feet area is slightly more likely to get black and blue after injection, as these injections are placed very superficially, just below the skin, and the skin is thinner in this location.
